What's new in SecureAge Central

We’re pleased to present SecureAge Central 1.0.0.

What’s New

  1. CatchPulse Portal is now known as SecureAge Central.

  2. CatchPulse devices can now be added to a Device Group.

    Note: To create a Device Group, it must be assigned to a CatchPulse Policy

  3. Global Allowlist now supports Command Line.

  4. CatchPulse blocked items will now appear under the Untrusted Item page. Users can view and choose to approve them if required.

    Note: You need to upgrade to either SecureAPlus v6.8.0 or CatchPulse v10.8.0 for their blocked items to appear

  5. Users can now view their activities on the Audit Log page.

  6. Users can now specify the Application or Command Line allowlist in the CatchPulse Policy.

  7. CatchPulse Policy now supports the following new settings:

    1. OLE Denylist

    2. Enable Vulnerability Assessment

    3. Trust Any File in Windows Folder

  8. Users can now filter to a specified device in the CatchPulse Software Inventory page.

  9. Added label for CatchPulse devices running on outdated software on the CatchPulse Device page

  10. Additional dashboard statistics are provided on the Dashboard page.

Changes

  1. To assign a policy to a CatchPulse device now, the device must first be assigned a Device Group.

    Note: To support this, existing CatchPulse devices with policies will be migrated/ assigned to their corresponding “Device Group” (i.e. a group name with the same policy name will be created).

  2. CatchPulse Policy Trusted Certificate is now categorized into Add/ Remove.

  3. CatchPulse Device Page:

    • Last Connected → Connected

  4. Global Allowlist is now categorized into Application/ Command Line.
