SecureAge Central 1.6.0 Release Notes

SecureAge Central 1.6.0 is now available.

This release introduces persistent endpoint connections, a new CatchPulse Events view, a centralised notification system, and automated device group assignment at installation time. It also resolves several issues affecting report editing, Cloud AV status display, and user access pages.

What’s New

  1. CatchPulse Persistent Connection via WebSockets

    Introduced WebSocket support to establish persistent communication between CatchPulse endpoints and SecureAge Central, improving connection reliability and responsiveness.

  2. CatchPulse Events

    Added support for collecting and displaying CatchPulse security events within SecureAge Central.

  3. Notification System

    Introduced a centralized notification system to provide timely alerts and important system updates.

  4. Device Group Assignment During Installation

    CatchPulse devices can now be automatically assigned to a designated device group during installation using the Auto Configuration (autoconf) package.

  5. Enhanced Threat Detection

    Improved the CatchPulse threat detection algorithm to provide more accurate detection and analysis.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue where unverified users were incorrectly presented with Forbidden or Page Not Found pages.

  2. Fixed an issue where the Reports time range selector did not appear after selecting Edit Data Time Range.

  3. Fixed an issue preventing scheduled reports from being edited when a predefined time range was selected.

  4. Fixed incorrect Cloud AV status displayed for clean files in Request Allowlist Approval.

  5. Fixed incorrect Cloud AV information displayed in CatchPulse Request for Allowlist Approval.
