What is Cloud AV
CatchPulse Cloud AV leverages on stronger anti-malware’ scanning capabilities by using 10+ industry standard anti-virus engines in the cloud to provide continuous scanning for your computer.
This helps to achieve a higher and accurate detection rate. It scans every executable files on the user’s computer and does not use any heuristic rule to leave out any “safe” file which may later turn out to be sophisticated viruses. With everything entirely in the cloud, not only minimal computer resources is used compared to standalone offline anti-viruses, it also means that it can even work seamlessly with them.
Cloud AV is part of the Multiple Layers of Defense from CatchPulse. All untrusted applications detected by Application Allowlisting are not only compared against a comprehensive database of trusted application certificates, it is also thoroughly scanned by Cloud AV’s multiple anti-virus engines in the cloud.
