What is the toggle switch

The auto protect toggle and top left indicator is to allow users to choose on how they want to be protected by CatchPulse.

When the ON button is enabled in Automatic Mode or Lockdown Mode, CatchPulse makes use of a combination of a AI Scan, Cloud AV and Application Control feature to block threats and allow trusted apps. The ON button helps home users to make decisions for them by using the AI and it is generally non-intrusive.

 

When the OFF button is enabled in Interactive mode or other modes apart from Automatic Mode or Lockdown mode, users will receive security prompts with recommended actions but decisions are yours to make. The OFF button still protects users from threats since the application control blocks first and will remain that way till you make a decision.
