We’re pleased to present SecureAPlus 6.7.7.

New features

  • Handle sharing violations when writing to the log file

  • Support software downgrade for managed SecureAPlus

  • Detect EternalBlue in Vulnerability Assessment

Bugs fixed

  • McAfee slowness issue

  • If there was a corrupted entry in the whitelist database, the SecureAPlus software did not show the whitelisted command line

  • Vulnerability in saappctl.sys that allows restricted user to perform an arbitrary write operation

Modifications

  • Silent mode: no auto-quarantine if only APEX detects during real-time scan

  • Suppress real-time scan dialog for managed restricted users
