Manage CatchPulse Policy

A CatchPulse Policy is a collection of pre-defined CatchPulse settings that can be easily deployed and imposed on connected CatchPulse devices. You can apply CatchPulse policies to different device groups in an organization. (For example, each department is assigned its unique policies).

Add Global Policy Interval

Note: This section applies to users who have a valid CatchPulse Pro license.

When the Global Policy Interval feature is enabled, it triggers all CatchPulse devices under the same account to automatically retrieve their CatchPulse policy at specified regular intervals. This ensures that all devices are up-to-date with the latest policy and function optimally without manual intervention. This feature is especially beneficial for organizations with many devices that need to be managed and monitored remotely.

Note: If the Global Policy Interval is not specified, the default interval is set to 2 hours.

To add Global Policy Interval

  1. From the main navigation bar, go to CatchPulse → Policy.

  2. Click Add Global Policy Interval from the top right corner of the Policy page.

  3. Specify the policy interval in hours when prompted.

  4. Click Update Interval.

The notification panel at the bottom of the page indicates the Update interval was saved successfully.
