Manage CatchPulse Request Allowlists

Note: This section applies to users who have a valid CatchPulse Pro license

CatchPulse has a feature that allows for the management of an allowlist. This feature grants non-privileged users the ability to request approval or denial for certain actions remotely.

By default, non-privileged users are placed on Lockdown mode, which permanently blocks the execution of any untrusted applications. However, if a device has a valid CatchPulse license, users can request approval to run or allowlist an application via a notification, which appears whenever CatchPulse blocks an untrusted application.

Upon execution of an untrusted application, non-privileged users will see a pop-up message similar to the one displayed below.

To request approval, non-privileged users must send an email stating the reasons for the request and click Submit approval request, as indicated in the customized message.
